Technical characteristics of the AKRON SHE 500 sharp unit: 


- Minimum (continuous RMS) power, measured at 120VAC of net: 500 W in 4 ohms 
  and 300 W in 8 ohms;

- Frequency response of the amplifier: - 3 dB in 1Hz and 100 KHz; 

- Harmonic distortion of the amplifier: < 0,05;

- Technology: amplifier with discreet building, uses 10 outlet transistors of the  
  "sustained beta" kind, with total current capacity of continuous 60 A  and 120 A 
   of peak, in a way to obtain the minimum distortion in sharp sounds;

- The circuit topology was developed to obtain low distortion by inter-modulation 
  of transients (TIM);

- Feeding source with toroidal transformer dedicated to power amplification, with 
  capacity for 800 VA; 

- It is turned on automatically with audio signal. It goes back to the stand-by 
  status after 10 minutes without audio;

- Sub-woofer filter with continuously adjustable passing band of 35 Hz to150 Hz 
  and slope of 24 dB/8°;

  metallic holes, done in CAD;

- Other resources: protection against excess current, thermal protection, 
  clipping indicator, turn-on delay to avoid noise while turning on the amplifier, 
  AC inlet with a three-pole connector and earth connection that can be keyed 
  to obtain the minimum  hum, "bypass with buffers" outlets, natural dissipation 
  of heat without fans for silent operation.

  The cabinet of the unit of sharp sounds AKRON SHE 500 is built in MDF of 
  20 mm, with internal ribbings that connect the four sides, which makes the 
  box a single block, making it practically immune to audible vibrations.
 
  The standard finishing with a dim black top and sides in red rádica, synthetic, 
  is elegant and matches most environments, either modernly or classically 
  decorated. It has supporting feet that work as cushion bearings, avoiding the 
  transmission of vibrations to the building structure, thus relieving the
  inconvenience caused to neighbors in apartment buildings or attached houses.
  The option of spikes is included and comes with the product.

  It measures 46,5 cm of width by 50 cm of height, 56 cm of deepness and it 
  weighs about 45 Kg. It is closed and has a special speaker of 12 inches of 
  diameter. It presents some relevant parameters as outdoor resonance of 
  18 Hz and maximum dislocation of 30 mm peak to peak. This factor allows 
  the movement of a great amount of air that combined with other characteristics 
  and to the power of the amplifier allows the AKRON SHE 500 to reach frequencies
  below 25 Hz with low distortion, excellent transients and contour of sharp sounds.
 
  The AKRON SHE 500 unit of sharps is the ideal complement for high level 
  systems of audio and video.
 
  The amplifiers used in the AKRON SHE 500 units, purchased in OEM, were 
  designed and manufactured by the engineer João Yazbek and can be sold
